Chapter Presidents Letter:
Greetings chapter members and web site visitors. I’m honored, excited and proud to again serve as President for the 2018-2019 chapter year.
Our Board’s primary objective is to provide frequent/affordable training opportunities, with topics selected based primarily on your input. Our program committee will be meeting over the summer, and throughout the chapter year, to help maintain a calendar of upcoming events. We plan to maintain the calendar on our web site, so please continue to check the site for updates. Note: We will continue to send emails and registration reminders, but we hope the schedule will be a tool to help plan your participation in advance of receiving the email notifications. Our standing lunch events are typically held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (September – May).
If you have feedback for us (be it positive or constructive), regarding the topics or timing of the lunches and seminars, please reach out to a board member or to me personally. We value your insights and continually strive to meet your expectations with regards to CPE trainings and other local events. Our board meets monthly on the 1st Wednesday of the month at the Boise Plaza (12:00 – 1:00 p.m.). Chapter members are invited to attend any board meeting. If you plan to attend, please contact me, or another board member, so we can plan accordingly.
The ISACA Boise Chapter Board consists of very talented, hard-working and dedicated individuals. The collective (volunteer) efforts of this group is what makes this chapter so special; it’s been my absolute pleasure to work with them these past several years. Here’s to keeping our ‘smedium’ chapter going strong!
I look forward to seeing you at a future event. Remember, our chapter year begins in September and runs through the AGM, Annual General Membership Meeting (typically held in May). In the meantime, enjoy the hot summer weather, and stay classy Boise!
President, ISACA Boise
